Opportunity for a technically minded relationship focused insurance professional to look after an existing client base and build relationships with new and existing clients in East Anglia and the South.

In a unique opportunity, you will be taking over from the current job holder who is set to retire in June, so ideally my client would want a warm handover and a start date in late April / May.

You will have proven experience in relationship sales-based position in an insurance company / broker and while experience within Insolvency would be ideal, this this isn't essential, and we will consider those from all areas of insurance who are strongsales relationship builders. Those with Trade Credit / Credit insurance experience looking for the opportunity to progress into a more technical role will also be considered due to their understanding of the insolvency area.

The clients you will service will already be on cover and range from small practices to multinationals, so your role will be to look after the client, firefight and solve problems. Part of the role would be to undertake a site visit, do a risk assessmentand assist the client to what they need to do to insure it. At first, you'd be making 1-2 visits a month, this will grow to 1-2 a week as a maximum.

There will be an element of new business, however you will attend industry events who my client sponsors and build new business through networking and referrals.

Location wise, the team are predominantly based in Nottingham, but this role will be home based and out on the road, so we're relaxed about where you are based as long as you understand the importance of being out and meeting clients.
