_**Sales Development Manager (Filed based) - Elderly Care Software Solutions - £60k to £75k basic + uncapped commission + benefits**_ A successful and multiple award-winning global company that offers software solutions to the elderly/aged care sector, is expanding again due to its success. They are now searching for a Sales Development Manager to help grow sales opportunities within SouthernEngland. The person will be well connected within the elderly/aged care sector and have sales experience within the industry. You will not necessarily have IT or software sales experience, but be well connected and have experience of sales. There will be supportfrom the UK GM and training manager on the system side, so the most important requirements is to be well connected within the sector and to obtain and secure meetings and opportunities. **SALARY ETC**: - £60k to £75k basic + uncapped commission + benefits + car allowance or company car if needed. - Field based role, with regular meetings with colleagues and appointments with potential clients in South England. Would therefore be good for the person to be based in the London or surrounding counties. - Will need to be happy to stay away from home overnight as and when needed. - Monday to Friday - Permanent, full-time **REQUIREMENTS**: - To have sales experience, ideally within the elderly/aged care sector, or have sales/business development experience in other sectors, coupled with strong experience in the elderly care industry. - To be well connected with people/potential clients in the elderly/aged care sector, ideally in Head Offices, or relevant connections. - To have a positive approach and be able to "open doors", obtain meetings and leads within the elderly care sector, especially at Head Office level. - To be located in the South England area, such as London or the surrounding counties, with a full driving license and able to, and enjoy, regular travelling as this is a field based role. - Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work autonomously, as well as within a team and work alongside co-workers for meetings and development etc. **DUTIES TO INCLUDE**: - Devise with the CEO and GM, a suitable marketing strategy identifying elderly care and facilities and social service providers with whom to market the software packages to. - Make initial (both cold and hot lead) contact with elderly care facilities with the view of meeting potential clients and working with the Software Trainer & GM to demonstrating the packages to relevant stakeholders of all sizes. - Respond to all incoming enquiries (either directly to you or fed from the office) requesting information in relation to the packages within 24 hours of receipt of request - during a business week. - Meet key sales targets, set with the CEO and GM. - Organise demonstrations to conduct a demonstration and the relevant mode would close a sale. - Attend conferences and work with the CEO and GM and administration staff in planning these events. - Prepare proposals for potential clients using the company’s current framework. - Ensure all relevant paperwork in relation to the sale of the package/s (License Agreement, Invoice Schedule Form etc) are completed prior to release of the package to the client. - Ensure initial invoicing is appropriate to the proposal sent to the client.
