**The company**

We are seeking a talented individual to join a family run business which supplies both own label and branded products to UK leading supermarkets, wholesalers, foodservice and manufacturing customers.

**About the Technical Assistant job**
- Investigate customer complaints with supplier factories and report back to customers.
- Log all customer complaints and carry out trend analysis.
- Complete product specifications using retailer specification software.
- Complete product quality attribute sheets.
- Complete monthly retailer reports.
- Purchase samples and set up sampling and benchmarking sessions.
- Check product information and artwork for packaging.
- Assist in maintaining the quality systems and BRC requirements including internal audits.
- Pack and send samples out to customers.

**About You**

This role would be perfect for a food graduate with admin experience looking for their first job in food manufacturing, or perhaps you have some QA or technical administration experience and are looking to progress.

- Ideally educated to a degree level in Food Science, Food Technology, or related discipline.
- Good IT skills including Word and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
- Confident outgoing personality, good communication skills.
- Flexible approach, open to learning new things.
- Experience of working in a similar role within a food company (this could be from a university placement).
- A driving licence and own transport are essential.

The Technical Assistant job is based in Berkshire and is paying £25,000 - £30,000 according to your experience.

The package includes 22 days of holiday plus bank holidays, pension, and free car parking on site.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5 pm.
