Our client are recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to win new work in their UK markets. This Business Development manager role will be focused on identifying potential opportunities, positioning our client as the go-to supplier, tenderingwhere appropriate, and ultimately securing new long-term contract wins. We want you to have a minimum of 5 flow control experience with a proven track record in winning new business.
**Business Development Manager - Role and Responsibilities - Sales Manager, Flow Control, Pump, Valve, Actuator, Service, MRO, Repair**
- Generation and management of a sales opportunity pipeline of significant value across multiple industry sectors
- Market mapping and competitor analysis
- Customer Relationship Management
- Sales target identification and pursuit management
- Tender Management
- Maintaining a Long-Term sales forecast
**Business Development Manager - Skills and Abilities - Sales Manager, Flow Control, Pump, Valve, Actuator, Service, MRO, Repair**
- Appropriate engineering qualification
- 5+ years of experience in a flow control related industry
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of the company’s services and position them strategically against competitors
- Highly organized with excellent verbal and written skills
- Excellent listening and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of commonly used customer sales concepts, practices, and procedures
- Strong communication and IT skills are essential
