Job Title: Room Leader - Montessori

A MONTESSORI BACKGROUND IS ESSENTIAL
- _Working as part of a team to ensure the nursery runs smoothly and efficiently._
- _Caring for all children and ensuring their personal and hygiene needs are met daily._
- _Ensuring the children are happy, settled and content._
- _Observing, assessing, and planning for the children’s individual needs, ensuring their development is continuously monitored and create opportunities for children to progress._
- _Keeping up to date and informed of legislation in relation to early education and ensure that all paperwork is in keeping with the EYFS and Ofsted Requirements._
- _Becoming familiarised with the nursery's policies and procedures and working within these._
- _Leading a team, encouraging and raising practice daily._
- _Delegating tasks to your team to ensure the smooth running of the room._
- _Sharing creative ideas and willingly involving your team in decision making for the classroom e.g., activities/planning_
- **What we would ask from you**:_
- _A Montessori qualification is essential for this role. (Or extensive experience working within a Montessori classroom)_
- _Previous experience of working as a Room Leader is essential._
- _Being a positive role model to your team._
- _An extensive knowledge of the current EYFS._
- _Excellent verbal and written communication skills._
- _To be passionate, motivated, have the ability to work well within a team and be able to adapt to a fun and inspiring way of working._
- _Good ICT skills_
- We take safeguarding very seriously and a current and clean Disclosure Barring Services (DBS) Certificate is essential._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £29,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
