Overview Assistant Headteacher – Teaching & Learning Required Summer term 2026 (would possibly consider Sept 26 for ideal candidate). Leadership Scale L7 – L10 (inclusive of London Weighting). The Governors wish to appoint an aspirational and dedicated Assistant Headteacher with a proven track record of working in a primary setting to join our senior leadership team. The successful candidate will have responsibility for leading all aspects of Teaching and Learning across the school. The position is non-class based but with a teaching commitment of sets in Year 6. Applicants should have demonstrable experience in improving the quality of provision in the area they have led in either a middle or senior leadership role along with a desire and determination to improve the educational experience of the students in Greenwood Primary School. Is experienced in the development of curriculum across the primary phase. Has excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and the energy and enthusiasm to play a key role in school with high expectations of both themselves and others. Can lead, inspire and support others to fulfil their potential. Is ambitious and driven to make a difference as a member of our school leadership team.
