**HR Assistant | Hybrid working | Full Time | £24,000 to £27,000** Founded in 1949, our client designs, manufactures and markets a broad array of products that power, protect and connect electronic circuits. With over 70 years in the electronics industry, the employer has reliably demonstrated the ability to succeed in a variety of product areas across multiple industries. The company has a strong track record of technical innovation working with the engineeringteams of market leaders. This role offers hybrid working; 3 days on site at the Worksop and 2 days working from home. There will be occasional travel to Chelmsford. **Are you the right person for the job?** **Qualifications and Experience** - CIPD Level 3 desirable - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Possess a collaborative mindset and work well as part of a team - Superior time management abilities and capable of meeting deadlines - Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask - High level of accuracy, attention to detail and an ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner - Ability to build strong relationships - Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with Outlook and Excel **What will your role as a HR Assistant look like?** - Dealing with various HR queries throughout the business - Reviewing and updating job descriptions - Advising managers on recruitment and selection strategies - Assisting with and developing recruitment campaigns - Coordinating the appointment process for successful applicants - Entering Payroll and submitting employee pensions - Negotiating terms and conditions of employment with staff - Using HR information systems to access, input and compile data - Identifying development needs - Managing staff relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations - Researching and recommending performance evaluation methods (e.g. employee appraisal systems) - Monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation - Supporting the HR manager with various capability investigations, including grievance and disciplinary - Driving the business performance in relation to the organisation’s objectives - Acting as the point of contact for hiring managers, employees, and other HR team members - Any other reasonable request **What’s next?
