As Talent and Capability Manager at Unipart Logistics you will provide effective learning and development support to UL employees at all levels, through the delivery of Talent and Capability interventions in line with our business strategy, people strategy,and learning methodology.
**Learning and Development Manager Responsibilities include**:

- Work with site Leadership Team to develop site Capability plans
- Work with central Talent and Capability teams to ensure standards and consistency of delivery for all learning on site
- Partner with the functions and HR business leads to undertake Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify capability gaps
- Design, deliver, and evaluate training and development interventions following the 70/20/10 learning methodology and aligned to people strategy and business priorities
- Liaise with on-site HR team and business stakeholders at all levels regarding TNA, design and delivery of technical and behavioural interventions
- Liaise with UL Communications team and Unipart Way Online to share success stories and best practise
- Design and facilitate team development sessions as needed
- Develop, implement, and deliver innovative digital solutions for Capability and Talent
- Effectively develop content as appropriate to Unipart standard and share across Unipart Logistics
- Seek good practice across UL, share and update Unipart Way Online content as appropriate
- Coach learners and Organisational Capability Champions/Leads as required
- Coaching as required to support development activities
- Work with HR Team to diagnose and support functional capability requirements, ensuring clear contracting with the functions to deliver via 70:20:10 model
- Look for external opportunities and best practise for learning and development to support our business strategy
- Support central Talent and Capability projects as required

**Learning and Development Manager Requirements**:
Essential
- Worked on large scale programmes in an operational environment
- Able to design training programmes in a brain friendly manner, aligned to digital delivery
- Credible and engaging training presenter
- Proven facilitation skills, able to deliver with credibility at all levels
- Coaching and mentoring skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong planning, organising and time management skills
- Ability to influence at a senior management level
- Self-motivated - able to work on own initiative whilst balancing the need to involve others for maximum effectiveness
- IT literate (Advanced Level PowerPoint, Intermediate Word, Excel)
- MBTI Step I Qualified
- Competent in Learning Management Systems (ideally Moodle)

Desirable
- Relevant Degree qualification
- Certificate in Training Practice (CIPD) or equivalent
- Coaching and mentoring qualification (ILM)
- Worked in a large scale logistics environment
- Understanding of lean principles
- SHL Level A and B
- Insights Practitioner
- Hogans Darkside Behaviours

**Location**: Nuneaton, Warwickshire
**Contract Type**: Permanent
**Hours**: Full Time
**Salary**: circa £50,000 per annum plus car / car allowance
