**Commercial Manager Responsibilities:**
Supporting the Technology and Utilities and Defence Sector Account and Business Development Teams, our consultancy business and procurement team, you will provide support to customers and suppliers, both pre-contract and in-life.Taking the lead on the draftingof contracts and amendments, you will work closely with the account and business development managers to ensure that contracts that we put in place meet the needs of the customer, whilst protecting Unipart from unnecessary risks.
You will work closely with the Head of Procurement and Procurement Category Managers to assist in the drafting and negotiation of supplier contracts, either by taking a lead in the negotiations, or supporting / advising as required.
We have a number of well-established customer relationships and supporting and continuing to build those relationships is key. To do this, the support we provide must be pragmatic and tailored to suit the individual circumstances of each customer. We are lookingfor someone who is good with coming up with creative commercial solutions to problems which are win-win for both the customer and for Unipart.
**Commercial Manager Requirements:**
Knowledge of Technology and Utilities and Defence Sector Logistics sector would be useful, but not essential, the sector team is highly experienced, commercially aware and has a very collaborative approach.You will work with them in the development of deals,negotiation strategies and contract drafting.As a key member of the Commercial Contracts and Procurement Team, you will take responsibility for supporting the Technology and Utilities and Defence Sectors and be the expert for those sectors within our team.Other team members are sector-specialists for the other sectors that Unipart operates in and together we will leverage synergies and support each other where necessary to ensure that the support we can provide continues to be excellent

**Location**: Flexible / blended office and home working, with main office locations Nuneaton and Oxford
**Contract Type**: Permanent
**Hours**: Full Time, 40 per week
**Salary**: £55,000 to £65,000 per annum plus car / car allowance
