**About 90POE**:
At 90POE, our mission is to revolutionise the shipping industry by creating
a comprehensive suite of innovative software solutions tailored to the
Maritime sector. Over the next few years, our teams will develop over 30
ground-breaking products, ranging from global vessel tracking to vessel
performance analysis, crew optimisation, and much more. This is a unique
industry.
**Role Overview**:
As part of our continual expansion, we are seeking a talented Marketing
Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Chief
Commercial Officer (CCO) and other key stakeholders to define, articulate,
and execute the market communications strategy to support our brand
creation, go-to-market strategy, and overall market engagement. Ideally
this position requires an individual with an understanding of the maritime
industry, or someone with the energy and passion to bring a fresh
perspective of how to tell our story to this iconic industry.
**Key Accountabilities**:
Strategy
- Develop articulate and implement 90POE marketing strategy,
including content management, to tell our story in support of
increase brand awareness and customer growth.
- This will include developing brand messaging and marketing
material to support strategy execution - for example
- Develop brand messaging and create marketing material as
and when required
- Write short article and press releases for various modules /
milestones and 90POE and Customer achievements
- Assisted with the planning and delivery of research reports
which promotes OpenOcean STUDIO value proposition.
- Own and execute the quarterly external newsletter / timely
digital and social content as part of our strategic approach
Partner and promote
- Engage and interact across 90POE to understand, promote, and
propagate of our philosophy, approach, and value proposition.
- Develop strategic relationship with media partners to promote
positive output from 90POE activity
- Build rapport with our partner organisations and promote
collaborative messaging around our partner engagements.
Execute
- Help align commercial activity with market communications
- Manage external agency, market intelligence and insight providers
where applicable
- Monitor and report on impact of ongoing activity and campaigns
- Create and maintain relationship with external press and advertising
channels we applicable.
- Create and deliver marketing and content deliverables on time and
on budget supporting regular updates to CCO and related
Stakeholders.
1. Overall marketing experience in a scale up environment, preferably
with maritime industry knowledge but this isn’t a pre-requisite.
2. Ability to think both strategically and commercially with a good
understanding of overall business dynamics to promote 90POE and
OpenOcean STUDIO
3. Own and author content creation with appreciation of marketing
channels for the shipping industry, including its challenges,
opportunities, and priorities.
4. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a wide range of
audiences.
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills with excellent
attention to detail.
6. Ability to work cross-functionally with teams and stakeholders at all
levels.
7. Willingness to engage with partners and external agencies.
8. Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages would be an
advantage.
