**Your purpose**:
As a Project Support Officer in our Net Zero Energy Business in Glasgow, you will support Project Managers tackle complex practical, technical and commercial issues and thrive being agile to work constructively across a broad range of stakeholders; working with project teams that are either local to you or distributed across international locations.

Your primary responsibility is to support the implementation of project controls processes and tools across the wide range of projects within the Net Zero Energy Business portfolio, helping to ensure on time, cost efficient project delivery.

**_ The role may include:_**
- Implementing standardised project controls tools and processes across the Net Zero Energy Business project portfolio.
- **_ Cost Management -_** maintaining project cost trackers by capturing actuals, ensuring correct invoicing, and updating forecasts.
- **_ Document Control -_** maintaining project document registers and utilising our Electronic Document Management System - ProjectWise.
- **_ Subcontractor Management -_** ensuring governance processes are followed for onboarding of new suppliers and ensuring accurate, on time payment of supplier invoices.
- Potential for future development in project controls/project management.

You will be capable of managing your workload effectively, supporting multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. You will be organised, methodical and meticulous in your work. You will have a high level of numeracy and proficiency in analysing data, presenting findings both verbally and visually.

**_ In addition, you will be able to demonstrate the following desirable experience and attributes:_**
- High level of proficiency in MS Office packages, particularly MS Excel.
- Meticulous time management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentational skills.
- Desire to learn and develop professional skills.
