Robertson Bell are delighted to be working with this household name charity whilst they recruit for a permanent Procurement Specialist. Reporting into the Procurement lead you would work in a small team and have shared responsibility for the professionalservices portfolio.

Duties for this role will include:

- Responsibility for the one of the organisation’s key procurement divisions covering IT, Finance, HR and Fundraising.
- Leading on all high value procurement projects, contracts and tendering processes.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders up to director level across the organisation, providing expert procurement related knowledge in order to educate them on potential risks and cost savings that can be achieved through a proper contracting process.
- Build excellent relationships with suppliers in order to effectively manage contracts, review supplier performance and ensure that the best value for money is being achieved.
- Work with the Head of Procurement on producing tender documents and identify efficiency and cost saving measures.
- Significant experience of working in a procurement focused role.
- Have first class communication skills.
- Experience managing a tender process from start to finish.
- Feel passionate about the charity sector.
- Have the confidence to review terms and conditions and complex contracts.
