**The Company**
My client has been designing and building digital products since 2006. They are a BCorp company and as part of their commitment they ensure that over 25% of the products they build are making a positive difference.
Their clients range from well-funded start-ups to scale ups to big blue chip companies, but they all have one thing in common, they come to my client to accelerate their ambition.
My client work across multiple categories from fintech, to health, to environment, to drinks and FMCG to agritech, building digital products, ecommerce websites and marketing websites.
**Vision**
My client believe digital products can play an important role in addressing the world’s problems yet most of them fail to achieve their true potential. All too often they lack a coordinated interdisciplinary approach.
To address this my client use close-knit multi-disciplinary teams to cover all bases, get the right solution the first time, thus achieving the ambition set.
Historically they have been strong at UX/UI research/consumer insight, design and development, but over the last 2 years many of their clients have come to them asking for digital marketing activation solutions.
As part of their 5 year road map they intend to offer digital marketing services to their current client base and future clients. They are therefore searching for a Head of Performance to head up the function and sit on the senior leadership team helping inform the strategic direction of the business.
**Role**

As the Head of Performance Marketing you will be tasked with developing the strategy and activating digital campaigns to drive clients commercial objectives. These objectives vary from driving commercial sales on ecommerce sites, to driving usage of a digital product, to driving traffic and awareness of a digital brand. All the marketing activation will be digital.
You will be a generalist rather than a specialist able to understand all the digital marketing tools available to drive both the sales and marketing adoption funnels of client brands. You will be involved with influencing the builds of digital products so they are perfectly optimised and weaponised with the correct digital real estate so ensure your strategy and campaigns are successful. You will then shape the strategy with the client, activate it and measure the performance, enhancing it as you test and learn.
On a day to day basis you will be empowered to invest clients budgets to deliver their marketing and commercial objectives, continually improving the campaigns you create. You will be digital channel agnostic and deliver strategic solutions that are consumer insight and journey led and deliver to the clients objectives.
You will love the challenge of working with start-ups, scaleups and big brands providing the right solution for them at the right time of their brand and investment lifecycle.
**Experience and Individual**
My client are looking for a generalist rather than a specialist and someone who is comfortable in both strategy and execution. You may well be a Head of already or a Senior digital specialist looking for a Head role, but you will feel ready to be part of a senior leadership team delivering the commercial and BCorp objectives of my client.
You will be curious and hungry for growth and want to build a world class function around you based on your vision. In the first few months of the role you will be supported by a Digital Activation Manager that you will recruit based on your complimentary skill base.
You will want to be part of a very dynamic digital studio that already has strong double digit growth, and you will be excited about the opportunity.
You will love all things digital and relish the opportunity of working cross functionally driving the strategy of the business.
You will have experience of the tool set to deliver your role, and have a good balance of strategic and commercial skills. You will have empathy with the needs of founders of start-ups and scaleups as well as understand big brand objectives. You will be a people person with high emotional intelligence and be a strong self starter able to drive the agenda internally and with clients.
You will easily morph from strategy to execution with clients to delivering to the BCorp agenda, to bidding for incremental resource in your function to developing your team.
