As a Transport Coordinator you will assist with the day to day running of vehicles to ensure prompt and on time deliveries to customers. You will be required to update transport systems to track vehicle, trailer and job status to meet delivery timings. Youwill ensure vehicles and trailers are serviced and MOT'd before being used and assist drivers in managing their hours and break requirements to be compliant at all times. You will also be required to assist drivers and customers with queries and any issuesthat arise during a route.
The role will be based in their Milton Keynes and and the working hours will be on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (6am - 6pm). During the training period the working pattern will be Monday - Friday on a regular day shift; due to the nature of the business therewill be a need for some flexibility. On offer is a salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum. The company can offer a friendly working environment; additional company benefits and will look to train the individual to become a planner within their team.
