Production Supervisor - Robotic welding and assembly

As a Production Supervisor (Robotic Welding & Assembly), lead and motivate a team to create a high performance culture ensuring a safe and efficient work place is maintained at all times through coordinating operator and team activities

Control of production, responsible for output, quality, cost control and continuous improvement

Experience in welding operations, including resistance welding, ultrasonic inspection

**Duties**:

- Monitor customer schedules to ensure the current production plan will meet the immediate needs of the customer and identify potential problems.

Able to drive and embrace change by demonstrating a positive attitude towards change, with a willingness to be flexible and adapt to new circumstances
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the production department
- Coordinate and schedule production activities to meet production targets and deadlines
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain product consistency and quality
- Train and supervise team leaders, production staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise production efficiency and resolve any issues that may arise
- Maintain accurate production records and reports

Application of all Company policies and procedures (discipline, grievance, timekeeping, attendance and substance mis-use) and escalate accordingly.

Undertake performance management responsibility for team members, giving direction to aid good performance.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in manufaturing production or a related industry/field is required
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations,and quality control procedures
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues

Manages the performance of others by setting clear responsibilities and monitors progress and addresses any shortfalls to ensure targets are met.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
