**Summary**:

- This position is as part of the Supply Chain Manager (SCM)’s organisation, in support of Logistics Officer (Service & Delivery) supervise the operation of the Devonport Naval Stores Office and act as part of the Intelligent Customer team to provide oversight of Naval Base Commander (Devonport) Service Provider stores operation. Receipt and distribute agency fuel cards, ensuring the Management of the Joint Deployed Inventory (MJDI) account is up to date and complete. Administer appropriate invoices. This post is advertised as 37 hours per week and will require an on site presence.**Job description**:

- 1. Manage the Devonport Naval Stores account as primary Unit Application Administrator. Prioritise workload, and ensure all authorised demands are input to meet Required Delivery Date.
- 2. Provide guidance for the MJDI Articles in Use Custodians on the correct management of their accounts including demand, receipting and Reverse Supply Chain. Communicate via a variety of media.
- 3. Meet requirements of Royal Navy Compliancy Checks and Controls, and complete tier 1 Compliance Management Tool checks. Assist Logistic Officer (S&D) in completion of biennial Base Logistics inspection.
- 4. Manage the MJDI system effecting repairs and troubleshooting, updating
- amending and adjusting as necessary. Updating the Fault Log and communicate with Single Point of Contact.
- 5. Compile statistical data for reports as required by CMT and Navy Command Head Quarter.
- 6. Provide desk training for MJDI to Authorised Users to maintain quality of service.
- 7. Conduct business administration and maintain a secure archive library of documentation in support of the Naval Stores MJDI account.
- 8. Conduct induction training for the Royal Navy, Service Provider and contractors and assist with on-the-job training as necessary.
- 9. Organise and plan the operation of the record room and arrange disposal in accordance with the security classification of documentation held.
- 10. Act as building controller for N010, facilitate building safety and security.
- 11. Receipt and distribute agency fuel cards, ensuring the MJDI account is up to date and complete. Administer appropriate invoices.
- 12. The postholder must adhere to the NBC(D) Diversity and Inclusion Policy.**Responsibilities**:

- Sound knowledge and understanding of Materiel Accounting regulations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Logistics environment, although training of IT systems will be provided within 3 months of joining.**Behaviours**:
