We are looking for a creative, passionate and committed communications professional to join our friendly communications team and work specifically on communications activity for our new electronic patient record or 'EPR'.

- Contribute to developing, implementing and evaluating the communications strategy for the organisation and our electronic patient record.
- Work with the project team to translate their work for range of stakeholders including staff and service users.
- Use graphic design packages to produce creative content for our target audiences.
- Assist in the organisation of events.
- Maintain and develop our website and extranet.
- Lead evaluation of our communications activity.

Duties
- To support the communications and EPR teams in the delivery of the EPR Strategy by devising and sharing engaging content about the programme across different platforms.
- To attend and support at EPR roadshows.
- Contribute to the ongoing reassessment of the EPR plan and strategy with communications advice and guidance
- To develop, research, write and produce engaging communications materials for a variety of audiences.
- Take lead on producing materials such as leaflets, copy for the website and the internal staff newsletter.
- To manage film production relevant to the EPR roll out strategy - having editorial control and managing the production process.
- Manage the administration of media enquiries relevant to the EPR roll out strategy, ensuring that all media enquiries are logged, answered or referred on.
- To keep a log of enquiries and coverage, fielding and where appropriate managing enquiries.
- To develop and maintain systems for all communications activities, including media monitoring and logging of press calls. Remove this ?
- To input into the collation of a communications dashboard, summarising and analysing the output from the Communications Team.
- To input into a weekly update of press coverage about Sheffield Health and Social Care as well as other relevant regional and national stories for executives and leaders within the Trust.
- To support the day-to-day updating of the Trust’s web and intranet sites with relevant content to the EPR roll out strategy.
- Deliver super user training to build a network of content authors within the Trust for the website and to curate the intranet daily.
- To support event co-ordination by undertaking external and internal promotion, procuring physical materials.
- Overseeing the use of video content and presentations and running live online coverage.
- To support the Communications Department in administrative duties by co-managing the Communications, Intranet and Website Enquiries inboxes on issues relevant to the EPR roll out strategy
- To assist the Communications Team and EPR Team in the administration and supply of up to date and accurate information to staff via the extranet.
- Leading on both internal and external communications activity such as the Trust’s social media channels and the weekly internal newsletter, overseeing the use of a consistent tone of voice and consistent and accessible messaging.
- To assist and support the production and implementation of communications plans and campaigns relevant to the EPR roll out strategy, leading on this where appropriate.
