This is an opportunity to join the Academic Unit of Medical Education in the role of Information and Communications Officer on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
The principle aims of the role of Information and Communications Officer are to act as the initial point of contact to students, staff and visitors to the Medical School, to provide an efficient information service for medical students and to support the work of the Medical Education team.
Working as part of the Central Support team in the Academic Unit of Medical Education, you will report to the Personal Assistant to the Head of Department. You should have a commitment to providing excellent customer service which will enhance the quality of the overall student experience, and have excellent IT knowledge and skills to enable you to undertake the wide
- ranging administration tasks associated with this role.
You will integrate into the Department of Neuroscience, which is one of the three constituent departments of The Medical School. We are seeking a highly motivated person with a track record of conducting high quality health services research to develop and evaluate complex health interventions, with a particular emphasis on technology.
