**About the role**

Our data platforms are an integral part of the overall technology estate at EasyJet, responsible for supporting a large number of enterprise services across the entire business and underpinning our data strategy.

You will be responsible for ensuring that technology teams working with our Data Platforms deliver sustainable and scalable technical solutions. As the overall data estate is vast and complex, you will also responsible for a small team, who will support you with triaging and resolving incidents, developing CI/CD pipelines and designing new systems.

You will also coordinate and assure overall platform change (including release management) and ensure associated risk is fully understood and agreed with by the various technology teams. Finally, you will also manage the supplier teams that build, enhance and support some of easyJet’s most critical data infrastructure.

**What you’ll need to do the role**

Management of the Data Platform internal team, providing architecture support and CI/CD development and supporting the Data Engineering Leadership team with expert knowledge of the Data Platform estate.

Management of the Data Platform supplier team providing technical in and out of hours support.

Responsibility for assurance that all deliveries are built in a way that is supportable, stable and performant.

**Requirements of the Role**

**Skills & Experience**

Technical understanding of performance and capacity management, especially in a hybrid cloud/on prem environment

Experienced in working with third party organisations and off-shore teams.

Ideally experience in line management
