Data Management Lead

**JOB PURPOSE** As the Data Management Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of data management processes and systems that support the organisation's business objectives. You will be responsible for enabling the data management capabilities that ensure optimal data accuracy, accessibility, and integrity for all the organisation’s data assets. **JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES** The following key accountabilities have been established to deliver the easyJet's data management strategy. - Leadership: Lead the technical development and implementation of all the data management processes that ensure that our data is trusted, discoverable, understandable, safe and in compliance with regulations. - Data Management & Quality: Be the technical lead for the Data Management and Quality. Develop the technical designs of all Data Management frameworks and operating models and ensure that are embedded in our people, tools, and business processes - Training & enablement: Promote data literacy and data management awareness across the organization. - Collaboration: Work closely with data architects, domain data leads, business/technical data stewards, data scientists, data bi/analysts, data product delivery leads and other stakeholders, including data protection officers and risk & compliance, to ensure the efficient and optimal delivery of our data management strategy. - Technology and Innovation: Support the implementation of data management technologies and tools to enhance and automate data management supporting domain and cross-domain data standardisation by design. **COMPETENCIES** - Innovation & Change - Is open to new ways of doing things and questions existing approaches, views change as an opportunity, comfortable working in a dynamic and ambiguous environment > Ownership & Delivery - Has a clear focus to deliver results, working to targets, reviewing progress and adapting their plans accordingly, motivating themselves/the team to achieve. > Building Relationships - Expresses ideas confidently and clearly, builds positive and constructive relationships with others, gets to know colleagues within their own team and supports them to ensure team goals are achieved. **Requirements of the Role** **KEY SKILLS REQUIRED** - Delivery focused, the definition of done is focused on adding and delivering value by leveraging reusable data assets and products making them discoverable by the business to drive value and differentiation in the market place. - Extensive experience in data governance and data management and the interaction across different data disciplines to bind their ways-of-working together resulting in a consistent and repeatable process for high-quality data delivery on the eJDP. - Programme Management is critical for understanding business domain roadmaps and ensuring the successful alignment of data governance initiatives with business priorities to ensure assests under governance support and enhance business goals. - Proven ability to lead and manage a data governance team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. - Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and interaction of data governance within DataOps. - Proficiency in using data governance tools and platforms to automate and optimise data management steps and gateways into data and analytical pipelines. - Expertise in implementing and managing statistical process controls for data quality measurement, continuous observability, and data quality remediation. - Strong collaboration skills, with experience working across diverse data roles and organisational levels within a federated data driven organisation. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders **BENEFITS**: > Competitive base salary > Up to 20% bonus > 25 days holiday > BAYE, SAYE & Performance share schemes > 7% pension > Life Assurance > Flexible benefits package > Excellent staff travel benefits **LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK** This full-time hybrid role based in Luton, and will be 40 hours per week LI-HYBRID
