Digital Safety - Data Governance & Quality Lead The Data Governance & Quality team is led by the Head of Digital Safety Assurance. Data Governance & Quality, along with Information security, Cybersecurity and Compliance, are key pillars in what we at easyJet collectively call Digital Safety. Digital Safety sits organisationally as part of our Group General Council Office. This team is responsible for implementing Data Governance & Quality across the airline (including Data Security, Access Controls, Management, Governance, Quality, and Controls) They collaborate with various business areas (including IT Data & Change, Legal, Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Commercial) What you’ll be doing: Reporting into the Head of Digital Safety Assurance, you will be leading a team to support the implementing a large-scale Data Transformation Programme and the on-going management of data across easyJet, working closely with multiple stakeholders across the business covering various aspects of data, including security, access controls, governance, quality, controls, risk management and regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will involve working closely with the Head of Digital Safety Assurance to define and maintain Data Governance capabilities, as well as implementing processes to enhance our data governance approach throughout the airline. You will play a key role in executing our Data Governance & Quality Strategy through an iterative and organizational approach. Additionally, you'll provide support in defining the use and impacts of AI on Digital Safety, help build a high-performing second line of defence to meet data strategy objectives, and contribute to projects related to data dictionaries, lineage, profiling, tagging, data quality metrics, governance, and critical data elements. Reporting on compliance with internal policies, standards, and regulations will be part of your responsibilities, and you will collaborate with various functional areas to assess the feasibility of new project and strategy ideas while ensuring alignment with existing processes and past projects. You will also support colleagues across different teams in embedding Data Governance Policies and Standards.
