**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Responsible for the development of Trust-wide recruitment strategies in collaboration with the Chief People Officer, Chief Medical Officer and Chief Nursing Officer to ensure the Trust has sustainable plans that support the immediate operational/business plans and longer term clinical and strategic objectives.
- Provide senior advice on people and recruitment issues, including sensitive issues, to the Chief People Officer and other Executive Directors and Board members, and to the Director of Workforce.
- Ensures the provision of high quality and timely Business Partnering services to the executives, maintaining Trust-wide professional standards ensuring consistency and facilitating the sharing of good practice.
- Lead on Board-level recruitment, working closely with the Trust’s external recruiters, ensuring that all processes followed adhere to the Trust’s standards and supporting streamlined and top quality on-boarding for all appointments.
- Develop and implement Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for both non-medical and medical recruitment, engaging with Divisional and Corporate managers and leaders to ensure support.

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Previous experience within NHS
- Relevant Masters Qualification or able to demonstrate equivalence in relevant experience and knowledge.
- Evidence of continued professional development
- MCIPD or equivalent
- Significant experience in a HR role at a senior level in a complex environment.
- Significant experience of providing HR and Resourcing advice at a senior level
- Experience of influencing decisions up to and including Board level
- Experience of promoting partnership and collaborative working with members of different professions and organisations
- Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation
- The ability to create, deliver and sustain a vision for service improvement
- Ability to understand and manage large budgets
- Highly developed leadership, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to motivate, challenge and engage individuals and team
