The Management Accountant role will be part of the senior finance team within the companies privately owned organisation. The group is in an ongoing growth phase so it is a very exciting time to become part of their team.

**Description**

The succcesful Management Accountant will be responsibile for:

- Provide accurate and sound management reporting.
- Produce & implementing month end and year end journals.
- Prepare management accounts packs.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with UK financial regulations.
- Review company assets and liabilities
- Prepare monthly reconciliations for all accounts.
- Calculate, submit, and arrange payment of VAT.
- Oversee & provide monthly reporting for ID lines.
- Full or Part Qual. ACA / ACCA / CIMA and QBE will be considered for this role.
- A good understanding of management information systems
- Strong Excel skills (V Lookups, Pivot Tables etc)
- Commercially aware, highly competent, with solid commercial acumen.
- Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels, both financial and non-financial; internally & externally

**Profile**

The successful Management Accountant will have:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Highly competent, with solid commercial acumen as a bonus
- Local to Peterborough
