**Management Accountant**

**Photocentric Ltd** is a rapidly growing manufacturer based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and Phoenix, USA. Three times Queens Award winners one for export and twice for innovation. We manufacture our own 3D printers and resins and exportall over the world. We have embarked on some exciting business partnerships which have rapidly changed the direction of our business. Due to this growth, we are now recruiting for a new position for a part-time**Management Accountant**.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for assisting with leading the financial function of the business, ensuring accurate and timely monthly reporting, and providing financial modelling, and insightful and commercial analysis to supportour growth. We are looking for 2 or 3 days a week (days to suit), there may be the opportunity to increase hours as the business develops.We may consider full time for the right person.

**Responsibilities of our Management Accountantinclude**:

- Create financial analysis of the business to enable the management team to work more effectively
- Assess which reports are significant to the business and present them
- Create a shared understanding of cost drivers with each budget holder and use this data to produce evidence-based forecasts
- Create month end management accounts and generate financial reports that illuminate significant aspects
- Create cashflow analysis
- Review our accounting processes and procedures and drive improvements in the quality of data and its presentation
- Assist with yearend accounts and audit
- Ensure all regulatory and legal reporting requirements and deadlines are met and adhered to
- Contribute to our US business accounts and finance
- Reconcile balance sheet items such as cash, debtors, creditors, inter-company balances, stock, fixed assets, and investments and notify management of discrepancies and process payments and banking

**Experience and skills required for our Management Accountant**:

- Track record of success
- Fully qualified, ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Wealth of experience as a Management Accountant ideally with some industry experience.
- Proven experience in producing management monthly and year end accounts.
- A team player with the ability to prioritise their own workload, using their own initiative
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving
- Experience in supervising a team and managing their workloads.
- Strategic with good commercial insight and be able to identify and realise business opportunities with continuous finance improvements
- US accounting knowledge would be useful but not essential
- Analytical and enquiring mind
- High level of IT skills to include advanced Excel and ideally experience in using ERP systems.
- Commute to Peterborough
