We have an exception role for you, in the position of** Accounts Payable Supervisor (AP Verifiers). **You will have the opportunity to assume overall responsibility for all aspects of our accounts payable verifier process, ensuring invoices are uploaded to the respective systems timely and within the agreed KPI’s. The Accounts Payable Supervisor also provides supervision, leadership and direction to the Accounts Payable Verifiers and Administrator, managing their day-to-day activities and leading by example.

**The Impact you will have**:

- Lead and develop team activity/status and monitor direct reports ongoing performance, including routine review of key performance indicators with each staff member assigned, distributing workflow appropriately among assigned AP Verifiers. This will also include recruitment and selection, training and developing your team.
- Review and approve accounts payable packages, while reconciling to the DTR, to ensure compliance to audit requirements, appropriate approvals have been obtained, correct GL accounts were used, and sales and use tax regulations were followed.
- Receive and answer questions from staff and vendors regarding purchase order invoice data, accounts payable checks, and related matters
- Work with Corporate Finance, Treasury, Tax and Accounts Payable to ensure appropriate disbursement management and financial reporting
- Ensure that all assigned manual checks are recorded accurately and timely
- Maintain the A/P mailbox to ensure timely response to key stakeholders

**Ideally, we are looking for someone who has;**
- Experience of leading / supervising an Accounts Payable team, able to inspire, mentor and motivate others.
- Used to working within large corporate environment and with complex data and processes with high levels of attention to detail.
- Minimum of 3 years Accounts Payable or finance experience.
- Degree in accounting / finance (preferred).
- Highly proficient IT skills within MS Excel and all MS office packages.
