HR & Resourcing Lead

The Priory Hospital Preston has established an excellent reputation for offering calming and recovery focused residential treatment for up to 38 service users.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced HR & Resourcing Lead who will provide support and guidance to senior management and heads of departments in all areas of employee relations and recruitment.
Duties will include;
- Line management of HR & Resourcing Administrator
- Ensure that all relevant documentation related to employees is recorded, maintained and stored confidentially
- Support with the administration and coordination of investigations, grievances and other HR processes under the advice of Regional HR
- Minute take in meetings where appropriate
- Processing payroll amendments, changes whilst adhering to strict deadlines
- Identify, understand and address high levels of absence with managers
- Support and drive completion of the Colleague Engagement surveys at site and work with site SMT and Managers to progress site action plans
- You will be expected to provide cover and support to the wider team and site as and when needed.
The post-holder will have strong communication skills, relationship building skills and excellent attention to detail as you will frequently need to address emotive and sensitive situations involving staff and managers from all levels at site.
Effective interviewing, negotiation, report writing, presentation and counselling skills are key to the successful performance of the role.
Previous experience in coordinating HR activities within a corporate environment, ideally within Healthcare sector but not essential. CIPD qualification would be ideal.
