We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Assistant to join the People Services - HR team in Preston, working 37.5 hours a week.

**Position**: HR Assistant

**Location**: Preston, Lancashire office with some flexibility to work from home

**Hours**: Full time, 37.5 hours. Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, flexible hybrid working considered

**Salary**: £23,929.20 per annum x 2 positions

**Duration**: Permanent

**The Role**

As a HR Assistant you will be working as part of the national People Services - HR team delivering a first class service to the charity and its 1,000+ employees across the full range of HR activities involved in the employee lifecycle.

You will be:

- Fulfilling all general HR administration activities, including managing inboxes, adhering to legal requirements including DBS and Right to Work checks
- The first point of contact to provide HR advice and guidance to line managers across your region and will be accountable for supporting the HR Business Partners and Advisor in effectively managing relations, ensuring the organisation delivers a fast andeffective solution to managers and employees

**About You**

As HR Assistant you will have experience of working in an HR environment with a CIPD Level 3 qualification or be working towards it. You will be resilient, adaptable and work effectively with a focus on customer service and care.

You will:

- Be well organised, flexible, friendly and discreet
- Have a genuine interest in the charity and its values
- Have experience in HR administration, maintaining your own workload and providing an accurate and timely service to the HR Team, line managers and employees
- Have the ability to manage internal relations
