Post: Evidential Review Officer

**Salary**: Scale 4 / 6 - £21,837 - £29,331 (pro rata)

Hours: 18.5 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Middlesbrough HQ (with some flexibility for home working).

Applications are invited for the post of Evidential Review Officer within the Criminal Justice Unit at Middlesbrough HQ.

As an Evidential Review Officer you will act as Disclosure Officer and will be responsible for the preparation and submission of prosecution files to the Crown Prosecution Service as defined in the Home Office Manual of Guidance, the Criminal Procedures and Investigation Act (CPIA) and DPP 6th Edition Guidance on Charging which incorporates national files standards, Attorney General Guidelines and performance timescales.

The Evidential Review Officer provides feedback to operational staff in respect of case files and liaises with the Crown Prosecution Service to ensure quality and timely case file submission.

We are a busy team, so you must be able to prioritise tasks and work to demanding timescales.
