Overview / Responsibilities:
**Temporary Facilities Coordinator (Construction) - Redcar (Site Based)**

Wood Process & Energy are recruiting for a Temporary Facilities Coordinator with demonstrable Construction and Facilities experience, working on large scale EPCm projects within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries.

The opportunity will manage a range of temporary buildings and general support services on our client site in the North East for approximately 7 months, co-ordinating Temporary Facilities maintenance and defect rectification providing regular feedback on current work to the Site Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and programme Temp Facilities arrangements and to ensure a safe working environment within the area
- Ensure Temporary Facilities capacity is adequate and plan future requirements as necessary
- Co-ordinate Installation of new facilities as required
- Co-ordinate Ongoing Maintenance of Temporary Car Parks, Welfare areas, Warehouse and Laydown areas
- Provide Regular reviews of Transfer of responsibility (TOR) areas
- Carry out Waste Stream Audits as required
- Co-ordinate contract security services and ensure all security incidents are reported to the appropriate in line Management
- Plan office rearrangements in conjunction with the appropriate management
- Maintain all current floor plans and modify where required to new arrangements
- Co-ordinate and maintain Contractor Laydown areas
- Comply with all current Health, Safety and Environmental regulations
- Co-ordinate Winterisation plans
- Report any breaches via the appropriate reporting routes
- Provide and maintain office furniture as required and keep Site Manager informed of requirements for new items
- Ensure effective use of time and resources

Skills / Qualifications:

- Proficient knowledge of Excel and basic knowledge of Word
- Full knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental practices, and relevant H&S legislation
- A good knowledge of organisation, business and people
- Sound knowledge of commercial procedures relating to specification, competitive quotation and supply
- Broad understanding of financial procedures in relation to validation of invoices
