Planner / Area Lead (Psc)

Review open work orders and identify / validate / challenge Outage requirements.
- Identify opportunities to execute scope outside of the Outage.
- Detailed planning for individual work orders ensuring the following items are identified:

- Detailed planning of the individual steps required to execute the scope including pre-Outage, Outage & post-Outage activities.
- Ensure all materials are attached to the work order
- Identify resources required including obtaining estimates for executing the scope.
- Identify temporary equipment requirements for execution of the scope
- Site visits to engage field personnel, scope work, and ensure alignment on execution strategy.
- Develop work packs for Outage scopes and group into logical execution packages
- Request work permits for field execution.
- Participate in the development of safety & rescue plans as required.
- Provide input into any temporary system configurations required to support execution in the field.
- Engage Operations in development of isolation plans.
- Participate in cross-functional discipline reviews, hazard identification & risk assessments
- Provide input into the Outage Integrated schedule and assist in developing the logic to ensure dependencies are identified
- Participate in SIMOPS / scope optimisation
- Provide input into the crane utilisation & logistics
- Provide support to other Outage team members based on expertise
- Ensure all costs associated with the Outage are identified as per the agreed process
- Stewardship of specific discipline work lists to ensure only endorsed scope is included
- Liaise with Outage Planners and the Outage Manager to optimise plans, reduce costs, and set schedulesProvide status updates on scope development and input into the plan-for-plan to ensure key milestones are on track to being completed.
- Operations experience within the oil and gas industry
- Experience in developing scope and planning activities for Outages
- Preference of experience with refineries/ chemical plants
- Capable of reading, understanding and interpreting engineering and vendor drawings and documentation
- Ability to understand and recognise potential problems during construction and commissioning
- Proven organisational, planning and cost management skills
- Competency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Operations experience within the oil and gas industry
- Experience in developing scope and planning activities for Outages
- Preference of experience with refineries/ chemical plants
- Capable of reading, understanding and interpreting engineering and vendor drawings and documentation
