**About Spider Project**

Spider Project operates two crisis response projects: one in Chester (Café 71) and one in Birkenhead (Compañeros), both of which offer support and a safe place to those in crisis 365 days a year. We are currently recruiting for our Chester site only.

Through Spider Project’s dynamic Creative Recovery approach, the aim of these projects is to divert people away from Accident and Emergency and other traditional crisis services locally available.

Cafe71 and Companeros offer non-clinical settings to support individuals out of crisis and, when appropriate, engage with the Spider Project’s creative recovery programme and access other support.

**Overview of Role**
- This is a bank position giving you the flexibility to work as and when you are available.
- To work as part of a team providing the day-to-day delivery of the Crisis service, including 1:1 support.
- To work closely with partners in other agencies, including A&E, Police, NWAS, Primary Care services, NHS 111, Drug and Alcohol services and other third sector organisations.
- To work alongside volunteers and co-produce effective delivery of the crisis service and creative recovery programme.

**Pay**

£11.56 per hour

**Working Hours**

Both projects operate 365 days per year. Cafe71 in Chester is open between 10.00am and midnight, whilst Companeros in Birkenhead is open between 10.00am and 10.00pm.

Working hours at each site are organised according to a rota using a range of shift patterns. Bank shifts are negotiated according to service need and staff availability.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £11.56 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
