Security Officer for Tourist Attraction

**Assist Security **are looking to recruit a security professional with excellent customer service skills to join our team based at 2 major tourist attraction sites in either **Waterloo or Marylebone in London.**

**As part of your role**:You will be working with a team based at one of two of our tourist attraction locations in Waterloo or Marylebone. Providing customer service and security to the venue. The venue is where people of all ages and from around the world come to visit and enjoy the magic the venues have to offer. Multiple roles within the team include front entrance greetings, ticket checks, carrying out bag searches, patrolling & surveillance of the venue. Some positions may require you to stand outside.

**If successful**in the first stage of the interview for this position, you will have a secondary interview with the client prior to being offered the job.

**Pay Rate**:
£9.50 an hour PAYE

Shift Pattern:
**Part & Full Time available.**

Starts: 09:00 / 09:30 / 10:00

Finish: 17:30 / 18:00 / 18:30 / 19:00 / 19:30

**Minimum Requirements**:
**1 Years’ experience working within luxury industry & customer service skills.**

A valid DS licence.

Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Professional & Personable.

Immaculate presentation.

Right to Work in the UK.

5-Year employment / educational history.

**Preferred Requirements (not essential)**:
Proven experience in security.

Emergency First Aid Certificate.

ACT training Certificate.

Conflict management training.

**Responsibilities & Duties**:
Uphold security policy of ASG, supervisors, and the client.

Ensuring the admission ticket policy are adhered to strict ticket only policy.

Training provided for bag searches.

Patrolling inside & outside venue.

Securing all entrances, exits and un-authorized access rooms.

Supporting the management team and clients’ requests while on site.

Ability to use two-way radios.

Supporting heads of security team with day-to-day duties & incidents involving the safety and security with good practice and legislation.

Monitoring, securing & patrolling the store for suspicious behaviour on the premises.

Gain building & area knowledge as you may be required to help the public with general directions around London.

Able to write detailed reports of any incidents to be given to your operations manager.

Ensuring all staff involved in any safety / or security incidents complete an incident report as soon as feasibly possible post-incident with copies to be sent to supervisor and operations manager within 24 hours.

Reporting discrepancies & violations from customers or staff members to higher management on site.

Reporting any maintenance or hazard issues to heads of security & maintenance team.

**Training provided**

As a member of the security team, you will be required to undertake SIA licence training and vetting to BS7858. Once completed Assist will plan and implement a program of security awareness training which will be developed in tangent with the procedures and protocols required by the Ferrero Group.
