Night Security Officer for Tourist Attraction

**Assist Security **are looking to recruit a security professional to join our night team based at our tourist attraction site in Waterloo, South Bank.

**As part of your role**:You will be working with a team of officers located outside the attraction’s venue. You will be required to patrol the building, ensuring all the entrances and exits are secured. Working closely with the client and contractors visiting the venue. You will be required to be always vigilant and notice any suspicious behaviour around the riverbank area and act accordingly to assist / defuse any incident that may occur.

**We are looking for an officer who holds both Door Supervisor and CCTV licence**and can step up into a CCTV role when the current CCTV operative is on leave,

**If successful**in the first stage of the interview for this position, you will have a secondary interview with the client prior to being offered the job.

**Pay Rate**:
DS - £9.68 an hour PAYE

CCTV - £11.55 an hour PAYE

**Shift Pattern**:
Full Time - Night Shift - 20:00 to 08:00

**Minimum Requirements**:
**1 Years’ experience working within luxury industry & customer service skills.**

A valid DS licence.

Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Professional & Personable.

Immaculate presentation.

Right to Work in the UK.

5-Year employment / educational history.

**Preferred Requirements (not essential)**:
Proven experience in security.

Emergency First Aid Certificate.

ACT training Certificate.

Conflict management training.

**Responsibilities & Duties**:
Uphold security policy of ASG, supervisors, and the client.

Patrolling inside & outside venue.

Securing all entrances, exits and un-authorized access rooms.

Supporting the management team and clients’ requests while on site.

Ability to use two-way radios.

Supporting heads of security team with day-to-day duties & incidents involving the safety and security with good practice and legislation.

Monitoring, securing & patrolling the store for suspicious behaviour on the premises.

Gain building & area knowledge as you may be required to help the public with general directions around London.

Able to write detailed reports of any incidents to be given to your operations manager.

Ensuring all staff involved in any safety / or security incidents complete an incident report as soon as feasibly possible post-incident with copies to be sent to supervisor and operations manager within 24 hours.

Reporting discrepancies & violations from customers or staff members to higher management on site.

Reporting any maintenance or hazard issues to heads of security & maintenance team.

**Training provided**

As a member of the security team, you will be required to undertake SIA licence training and vetting to BS7858. Once completed Assist will plan and implement a program of security awareness training which will be developed in tangent with the procedures and protocols required by the Ferrero Group.

**Salary**: £9.68-£11.55 per hour

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
