**JOB OVERVIEW**

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Supply Chain Planner who has previous experience working within a Supply Chain / Administrative function and has excellent organisational, communication and multi-tasking skills.

Working as a Supply Chain Planner you will be involved in all aspects of the planning and logistics of incoming stock from a wide supplier base, working specifically with suppliers situated in the Far East.

As a Supply Chain Planner you will also provide ad hoc administrative support throughout the Supply Chain Team such as Forecasting, Stock Management, Generation of Purchase Orders and Freight Management.

**DUTIES**

Your duties as the Supply Chain Planner will include:

- Provide administrative support to the Senior Supply Chain Planner in Forecasting, Stock Management, Generation of Purchase Orders and Freight Management
- Maintain accurate Supply Chain and Stock records using the company’s ERP system
- Analyse supplier delivery schedules and ensure suppliers meet planned shipment dates
- Liaise with internal and external suppliers and customers, regarding shipment dates and stock availability
- Provide ad hoc administrative support throughout the Supply Chain Team

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**

This opportunity will appeal to an ambitious, resourceful self-starter whose experience and personal attributes will include:

- Previous experience of working within a Supply Chain / Administrative based environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing
- Experience of MS Office and ideally with Intermediate Excel skills
- Analytical and organisational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise
- A collaborative attitude
- General commercial awareness, with the ability to relate operational decisions to commercial impact
