**JOB OVERVIEW**

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Administrator / Supply Chain Administrative Assistant who has great organisational, time-management, communication and administration skills.

Working as the Administrator / Supply Chain Administrative Assistant you will be reporting to the Senior Supply Chain Planner and provide ad hoc administrative support throughout the Supply Chain Team.

As the Administrator / Supply Chain Administrative Assistant you will require strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact in a cross functional environment with all teams, areas and levels of business with the ability to multi-task and prioritiseworkload effectively.

**DUTIES**

Your role as the Administrator / Supply Chain Administrative Assistant will include:

- Checking and processing suppliers’ sales contracts
- Maintaining and updating PO’s in the ERP system
- Updating shipment details in ERP system according to suppliers’ production schedule and forwarders’ shipping schedule
- Liaising with UK, EU and Far East suppliers and forwarders for ensuring all shipping documents are available in advance of goods arrival
- Checking suppliers’ and forwarders’ invoices before processing of payments to finance department
- Provide ad hoc administrative support throughout the Supply Chain Team

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**

This opportunity will appeal to an ambitious, resourceful self-starter whose personal attributes will include: -- Experience of working in logistics, with global Freight Forwarders or in a purely administrative role would be beneficial
- Highly organised with good time-management and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to multi-task & prioritise
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact in a cross functional environment with all teams, areas and levels of business
