Position Summary
We have an exciting new opportunity as Supply & Demand Planner to join the European Partners team. Reporting to the EMEIA Supply Chain Manager, this role is responsible for leading supply chain support across the region whilst managing and capturing the demand process from our key markets.
Edrington European Partners sub-region is responsible for the management of our brands across 31 countries and serviced by our third-party partners and wholly owned company Edrington France. We are responsible for 1.2m cases of sales, managed by teams based in our sub-regional 'hub' offices in Madrid, Paris, Athens, Almaty and Glasgow as well as several team 'specialists' based in key cities across Europe. This new role, which has an 80/20 split between supply planning and demand planning tasks, will be fundamental in establishing and leading an internal supply chain for European Partners.
Job Description

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

- Lead on all aspects for supply and demand for European Partners; develop and improve current processes and systems, and implementing the required changes to meet the growing needs of the region
- Supply chain expert and key contact for all supply chain and demand questions across European Partners key stakeholders
- Creating strong working relationships ships with supply chain contacts in the UK and DR
- Lead the resolution of any supply chain issues
- Enhance, develop and streamline supply chain processes within the region
- maintaining allocation file and raising request for movement between EP pots
- Ensure all orders are placed in line with expectations and provide commentary on gaps via effective liaison with global supply chain executives
- Responsibility for weekly order book and daily sales report
- Chair European Partners Collaborative Business Planning (CBP), providing key information for EMEIA regional CBP
- Maintain timely and accurate 18 month rolling forecast at multiple levels of aggregation and time horizons for the sub-regions portfolio of SKUs and customers
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
- Establish and maintain a close working relationships with key customers in order to improve forecasts accuracy.
Skills and Experience
To take on this role, you’ll have significant experience and depth of knowledge of supply and demand planning activities. You will have well developed analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to develop scenario planning models. You will be self-motivated and proactive in delivering against role expectations and have an appetite to challenge the status quo and continuously improve processes. You will have the ability to build strong working relationships in a cross-functional and cross-cultural environment, under pinned by excellent inter-personal skills, assertiveness and influencing skills. You will also have hands-on experience of SAP APO DP and SAP APO SNP planning module, preferably supplemented with knowledge of SAP ECC.
