JOB ROLE: Finance Administrator

INDUSTRY: Financial & Commercial

SALARY: 20k

LOCATION: West End

DUTIES INCLUDE:

- To assist both the Finance and Commercial Departments in optimising their performance, allowing for smooth day-to-day running of the Company.
- Provide admin assistance to both the Company Accountant & Commercial Directors, combined with assisting the collective Commercial Department when required.
- When required, provide ad-hoc assistance to the Office Management
- Collation, coding and logging of purchase invoices.
- Reconciliation of supplier accounts on a regular basis.
- Managing the Company expenses scheme, including liaising with MD for approvals.
- Reconciliation of Company Credit Card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assisting Company Accountant with the annual Company audit.
- Tracking of on-site labour timesheets on both a weekly & monthly basis.
- Attend and support internal meetings as required.
- Assist in maintaining a complete accounting database of suppliers/clients/subcontractors.
- Maintain supplier, subcontract and client account relationships where possible.
- Develop general awareness and understanding of construction techniques and methods of working.
- Develop understanding of the wide range of activities undertaken by the Company.
- Attend and support internal and project meetings as required both in the office and on site.
- Any other duties that from time to time may be expected of you and as instructed by the Commercial Director to satisfy the requirements of the Company.
- Provide assistance for the production of a Company tender document

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to be proactive and work under own initiative
- Excellent IT skills (including the Microsoft Office suite)
- Ability to maintain administrative systems and procedures
- Good attention to detail: accurate, meticulous and conscientious
- Dependable, reliable, punctual, flexible, self-motivated
- Ability to demonstrate tact, confidentiality and discretion
- Work well and communicate with others.
- Multi-task
- Liaise with all members of a team/office
- Time manage and prioritise on own initiative
- Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Maintain strong work ethics and standards
