An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a part time (job share) Administration HUB Lead to support the admin service based at Rochford 3 days a week (Monday, Thursday and Friday 9am - 5pm).

The role will require travel / cover to all of our Rochford locality sites - including Canvey, Rayleigh, Southend etc.

You will have day to day responsibility for the management of a team of administration staff working for the South East Admin Hub covering wards, receptions and clinical services. The successful applicant will be required to carry out regular supervisions (1 to 1s) and appraisals, as well as probation meetings as applicable and the day to day management and allocation of tasks within their areas of responsibilities.

As well as line managing admin staff, you will be providing support to our clinical services, dealing with queries and general administrative duties and responsibilities.

You will be responsible for ensuring all the areas we provide admin support to are fully staffed and to cover yourself as and when required.

South East Administration Hub provides administration support to the South East Essex area including, Canvey, Rayleigh, Southend etc. We are highly motivated to provide a professional, efficient and effective service. Our administration team is responsible for the provision of providing effective administrative support within the services for the clinical teams. You would provide support and general administrative duties and responsibilities. You would be required to cover wards, receptions and clinical services as and when needed. You will have day to day responsibility for line managing a team of administration staff who provide support to our wards, services, receptions and staff working within our hub at Rochford Hospital.

EPUT provides community health, mental health and learning disability services to support more than 3.2 million people living across Bedfordshire, Essex and Suffolk. Also:

To deputise for the Administration Team Leader as and when required

Provide in-house training and support to new colleagues within the department.

To be responsible for the day to day management and supervision of the administration officers including authorising, sickness / annual / study leave, completion of positive returns and undertaking supervision and appraisals.

To work in conjunction with the Administration Team Leader to deal with any sickness, disciplinary, capability or grievance issues.

To undertake the allocation / prioritisation of daily workloads of the Administration Assistants and organisation of rota systems to ensure effective operation of services.
