On behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Architectural BIM Technicianfor a 9 month contract based in London 2 days per week

Arup are an independent firm of designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists offering a broad range of professional services. Arup are currently looking for a Architectural BIM Technician in London for 2 days a week and rest remote,Key Duties: Production of 3D BIM drawings for Architecture, Landscape and Urban Design

**Responsibilities forArchitectural BIM Technician**
- A Bachelor's degree in a design related discipline,
- Background knowledge in Architecture / Landscape Architecture / Urban Design with the focus on graphic representation with ideally 3 plus years' experience,
- Experience working in a BIM environment on multi-disciplinary design projects,
- A strong working knowledge of 2D and 3D modelling software (MicroStation, Aecosim, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino and or other 3D modelling software)
- Knowledge and experience of QA workflows,
- Good communication skills, and strong team working skills,
- Attention to detail.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications**
- Good working knowledge of Projectwise
- Microstation essential. AECOsim a bonus
- Knowledge of parametric design (dynamo, grasshopper or FME),
- A good understanding of spatial data processing, analysis and visualisation,
- Experience of working on large infrastructure projects,
- knowledge of QA workflows.

Please note that due to recent changes in Off Payroll (IR35) legislation, our client only operates with contractors that operate via a PAYE or Umbrella model.
