The Lead Cook role is vital in the overall success of the kitchen. As Lead Cook, you will be dedicated to providing great food to our customers, as well as being responsible for the kitchen and preparation area.

**Accountabilities**:
Lead and promote the highest standards of customer care and service at all times.

Create and maintain a safe working environment for staff, customers and visitors to the Restaurant, ensuring the compliance with the Hillier Health and Safety Policy.

Daily planning and running of the kitchen to ensure the kitchen operation is run efficiently and effectively

**Main Responsibilities**:
Responsible for the daily preparation of hot and cold dishes.

Being at the forefront for ordering stock within the Restaurant, including monitoring wastage and discounting to achieve company margins.

Ensuring hot and cold food is prepared to the exact specifications and standards set out in the pre-designed recipe.

Taking overall responsibility and setting the highest standards for the kitchen in terms of food hygiene, quality and training.
