Job title: L&D Advisor.

Location:  Vitacress Salads (Andover) and Vitacress Herbs (Chichester) Dual role.

Salary range: £28,000 - £33,000 depending on experience.

Shift pattern:  Monday to Friday, 8.30 - 5.00pm.

Hours:  40

Contract type:  Permanent.
You will deliver training and learning programmes through a network of HR colleagues, business partners and external suppliers. You will also have an amazing opportunity to design bite-size training, programs, workshops, and learning materials using instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
Part of your role across both of our Vitacress sites will also include developing and managing a streamlined, efficient, and engaging induction and onboarding programme for all new employees.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

- Partner with HR team to manage the appraisal process for operational colleagues.
- Partner with Head of HR UK and SLT members to use data and analytics to diagnose skill gaps and identify development opportunities.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to drive high-level of user engagement across the UK in Vitacress’ performance portal (Appraised); ensuring completion of key tasks on time, in full, and to a high standard.
- Collaborate with employers and colleagues in helping everyone meet their legal requirements, mitigate risk, prevent harm, and foster a positive safety culture.
- Co-ordinate and deliver training sessions both in-person and virtually, and through trusted in-house and 3rd party trainers.
- Co-ordinate and facilitate listening groups and use these and other interventions such as assessments, feedback surveys, budget/spend analysis, and performance metrics to evaluate impact and effectiveness of L&D and other HR interventions.
- Participate in professional development activities, conferences, and networking events to enhance expertise and skills.
- Ensure training programs comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Offer suggestions around coaching, mentoring, and resources to promote continuous development.

Ideally you will have previous experience within learning and development, instructional design, or related roles. A strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training techniques would be ideal.
Other key experience/skills:

- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and build relationships.
- Analytical skills to assess training needs, evaluate program effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions.
- Project management skills to manage multiple initiatives and deliver results on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in learning technologies and tools, including LMS platforms and e-learning authoring software.
