Our mission is to empower communities with brilliant gigabit broadband, prioritising residents in social housing. This means tearing down traditional barriers to take-up and launching disruptive propositions.

The role will consist of multiple sales elements including digital, telephony and face to face customer contact, which will involve attending promotional events, running door drops and experiential sales methods.

While this is dominantly a sales role you will be expected to assist with customer service as demand requires, from answering inbound calls and handling queries, and spending time working from the office.

Key duties/responsibilities:

- Hit sales targets and work towards KPI’s such as new connections, conversion of calls and other relevant targets
- Identify sales opportunities
- Convert leads and queries into sales
- Objection handling and customer nurturing
- Manage business to business sales in a professional manner
- Communicate any problems, concerns or questions to supervisory staff
- Communicate respectfully and politely with potential customers at all times
- Support the Sales Manager on field sales and promotional events
- Promoting products based on the company’s directives
- Updating customer records in the company’s database as required
- Manage customer expectations and ensure they are kept informed of progress
- Aim to resolve issues and queries at first point of contact in a timely manner
- Accurately record the detail of each contact on the system provided
- Provide accurate written communication in a clear and professional manner
- Question and engage with customers to understand needs and requirements
- Work in line with standards and procedures set by the business
- Provide exceptional customer service on every contact

**Skills**:

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the telecoms sector
- Consumer and Small Business sales
- High level of computer literacy
- Strong communications skills both written and verbal
- Proactive, with the ability to handle customer objections with quick thinking and creative responses
- Collaborative team player
- As a start-up business, you will need to be hands on and be able to work flexibly to support the set up of a new business
- Ability to maintain excellent product knowledge

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
