Sub Agent – Major Infrastructure Project (Inverness) Freelance | 50 hrs per week | Mon–Fri | Accommodation Provided | 6-Month Contract | Immediate Start This is a site in Inverness An established Tier 1 civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join their team on a high-profile infrastructure scheme in the Highlands. This is a great opportunity to play a key role on a long-term energy project that will enhance resilience across the regional network. The Role You will support the Site Agent and Project Manager in the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme. This position suits a proactive Sub Agent with strong experience in civil engineering and the confidence to coordinate multiple work fronts. Key Responsibilities Assist in managing on-site operations, subcontractors and workforce activities Oversee progress, quality and compliance with project specifications Ensure the highest standards of health & safety are maintained Coordinate daily planning, RAMS, permits and site paperwork Report programme and productivity to the Site Agent and Project Manager Maintain effective communication across site teams and stakeholders Requirements CSCS and SMSTS (essential) Proven experience as a Sub Agent or Section Engineer on civils projects Strong organisational, leadership and communication skills Ability to manage ...
