**Description**

**Our client is looking for a Reward and Benefits Specialist to join their team based at either their Nottingham (Trinity) or Coventry (Westwood) office.This is a part time role (29.6 hours) and fully flexible on days/hours worked and will need toflex around peak reward activities e.g. Dec-April**

**Here's what you'll be doing**

**Benefits specific**:

- Evolve and strengthen their benefits offering**, **ensuring benefits areinclusive, relevant, valued and aligned to business priorities and values
- Drive benefit engagement through creative, innovative and progressive communication strategies.
- Review and improve reward and benefit colleague journeys and external promotion, to support their EVP.
- Lead the delivery of benefit renewals and annual enrolment projects, manage benefit plans and third-party providers.

**Reward**:

- Support the Reward Lead Consultant and Reward Consultant with strategic reward projects (e.g. performance management modernisation, HR IT systems project, design of bonus schemes and pay mechanisms, recognition).
- Explore and recommend opportunities to digitalise reward processes and demonstrate the value of our total compensation.
- Plan for, & project manage pay review, year-end bonus calculations and performance management processes for Collective and non-collective colleagues, in conjunction with Colleague Services and key stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Supporting the pay negotiations in partnership with Colleague Services, including keeping abreast of market and economic trends and scenario cost modelling.
- Working closely with the Payroll team to ensure robust Reward and benefit processes, acting as an escalation point to support complex queries.
- Maintain all reward documentation, communication, intranet pages and toolkits.
- Conduct external benchmarking, support on salary surveys and the production of market data to ensure the business is competitive externally.
- Provide best practice reward advice and act as a point of contact for the People function and business leaders across the UK, to support achievement of business priorities.

**What we need from you**

**Essential**
- Relevant HR, comms ,marketing or contract management experience in a fast paced, change orientated business.
- Proactive approach to colleague engagement, including putting the customer first and supporting the employee lifecycle.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, including the ability to engage and influence stakeholders, and build/maintain effective relationships with individuals at different levels of seniority.
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and solid Excel skills.
- Experience of project management.
- Comfortable with autonomy, with the ability to take ownership and drive tasks to completion.
- Innovative and resourceful, with an aptitude for continuous improvement.

**Desirable**
- Demonstrable employee benefits knowledge and including experience of flexible benefits platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in HR or business.
- CIPD qualified
- Experience of relevant HR systems and HR IT system integration knowledge i.e. SAP, Workday, payroll processes and benefit provider reporting requirements.
- Experience in a unionised environment.
