You might have enjoyed working from home and would like to split your time between there and the office/ other work locations. Others may be eager to return to the office on a more regular basis. We believe that a regular level of in-person contact is an important way to build connections with your colleagues, enhancing knowledge and idea sharing and enabling all of us to benefit from the vibrant office culture Browne Jacobson has to offer.

Our expectation is that, **on average**, you’ll work from home for no more than three days per week, with the remainder of your time either spent with your colleagues in the office or working from other locations as work demands dictate, e.g. courts, client offices, conferences etc. This is an average expectation over time and we know that there will be variations from week to week. Equally, there will be individual circumstances in which a different pattern of work is needed, for example as an agreed reasonable adjustment for colleagues with a disability or long-term medical condition.

**Why is this role important and how does it fit into the team, department and wider firm?**

The Reward Advisor will work alongside the Head of Reward in administering the firm’s flexible benefits and reward processes, so that the firm can deliver a high-quality and values-led value proposition for its employees and self-employed partners.

**What does the role actually involve?**
- Managing the administration of the firm’s flexible benefits scheme and group flexible retirement plan, in accordance with statutory requirements, making suggestions and leading on the implementation of improvements as required
- Providing ongoing support to the Head of Reward in the design and implementation of various strategic reward priorities
- Acting as the primary contact for all employee, line manager and self-employed Partner queries relating to benefits, wellbeing and other areas of reward. Also working as the day-to-day contact for all associated suppliers to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our processes.
- Providing direct support to the Head of Reward and wider business during the annual pay review process
- Providing input and analysis relating to Gender Pay Gap, equal pay and other diversity reporting

**What technical skills are required for someone to be successful and enjoy the role?**
- Advanced Excel and Word skills (essential)
- Experience of handling large, complex data sets
- CIPD fully or part qualified (desirable)
- Compensation & Benefits or Payroll function experience (desirable)
