**The Role**

Creating a friendly and welcoming environment by direct approach that encourages return custom to enable branch sales and margin growth.

**Working Hours - Monday - Friday 07.30 - 17.00 and 1 in 2 Saturdays 08.00 - 12.00 = 44.5 hours per week.**

**Key Accountabilities**

Cultivate and maintain exceptional standards of customer service and ensure Lawsons Best Practice, Standards and Company Policies are met

Assist in the company stock

Ensure that stock is replenished, rotated and merchandised

Maintain the yard to a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness

Build rapport, be polite and courteous to customers

Be vigilant to prevent loss of product by theft etc

Be vigilant and report any Health & Safety issues to the Line Manager immediately

A positive & approachable attitude

Previous Yard Experience

A Valid Forklift License

Good product knowledge within the Industry (experience within a builders merchants - ESSENTIAL)

Professionalism and who will promote and adhere to the company's value’s

Good interpersonal skills, confidence and ability to approach customers

Basic literacy & numeracy skills
