An exciting opportunity has arisen for anESR & Workforce Systems Specialist Officerbased at Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust as part of the ESR and Workforce Systems Team.

We would happily support someone wanting to take this role on as a secondment from within the NHS and have a base in both Norwich or Ipswich.

The team are seeking an inquisitive, enthusiastic and motivated individual to support the delivery of expert data analysis, problem solving and reporting via the national Electronic Staff Record system and bespoke local HR related systems as required.

The applicant will be able to problem-solve, answer questions using data driven techniques and provide timely analysis to support decision making.

The ability to look ahead at functionality within our HR systems and how they can be improved through development in within the wider Trust will also be required.

You should also be able to demonstrate effective communication skills at all levels.

A background in HR is not essential for this role

The successful applicant will have experience in extracting analysing and interpreting complex data and information. You will have excellent Microsoft Office, excel or other database/analysis platforms (such as PowerBi or PowerQuery) and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to provide support and instruction to other users of self-service systems in a succinct and friendly manner.

On a day to day basis you will be working in a team of HR systems specialists interrogating data to support requirements for information within the organisation and a contributing to national requests for information.

Knowledge and experience of HR Systems such as ESR or Oracle Business Intelligence would be beneficial
