Digital Marketing Executive

Our client are a fast growth digital business. Due to continued growth they are now looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join the team Working closely with the Digital Marketing manager and the rest of marketing team, you will plan, schedule, execute and report on the following key areas: - Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns for the acquisition of valuable new customers and maintain share of wallet for existing customers. - Maintain and optimise marketing campaigns in line with business objectives. - Utilise 1st party data to create optimal targeting segments within campaign workflow. - Monitor performance of Paid Digital activity, optimising to ensure delivery to KPIs. - Report to business on performance of activity managed. **Key Responsibilities**: - Work with the creative and brand teams to ensure consistency with brand guidelines and creative delivered to a high standard and in line with agreed plans. - Brief agencies on marketing requirements and work closely with them to create and refine plans, ensuring they meet requirements and achieve agreed budgets. - Present finalised plans to the Marketing Manager / wider leadership team for sign off. - Own and execute the signed off plans, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budgets. - Brief relevant internal and external stakeholders on agreed plans and ensure subsequent changes are communicated quickly and efficiently. - Work with internal stakeholders and external agencies to continually improve the ROI / CPA of marketing activity. - Make recommendations to influence the wider budgeting process. - Set up & test promotional codes for any marketing activity. - Accurately track performance and create reporting, analysis & insights to be shared with internal and external stakeholders. - Track marketing spend and keep an accurate record of invoices to ensure we don’t over-spend. - Monitor and report on key competitor activity. - Adopt a test and learn mentality whilst testing new innovative ideas to drive performance **Skills, know-how and experience**: **Must have**: - Previous experience of working in a digital marketing role - Confident with numbers able to use data from previous marketing campaigns to create future strategy - Customer focused - Good team worker - A creative mind with exciting ideas for content & strategy - Excellent communication and organisational skills - Good communication skills, a proactive approach and a "can do" attitude. - Confidence to challenge procedures & suggest new ways of working - Ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines - Must have high attention to detail e.g. proofreading, spelling, grammar - PC literate especially in Word, Excel and Powerpoint **Preferred**: - Business or marketing degree/qualification preferred - Knowledge of Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Business Manager and Google Analytics - Experience creating, delivering, and optimizing e-CRM marketing campaigns.
