**WHAT TO EXPECT**

The internal communications team sit within the Corporate Affairs & Motorsport (CA&M) chapter, which is responsible for protecting and promoting our JLR corporate reputation. This is achieved through business-wide communications; connecting our people to the company purpose 'live the exceptional with soul' so that they may better align their efforts to company strategic priorities.

As an Internal Comms Senior Officer for News and Campaigns you will be an important part of JLR's Global Internal Communications team and will be assisting the Global IC Manager and leadership team with planning and management of the company news agenda. Your key focus will be to plan communications at a campaign level - devising a creative content delivery and channels strategy for critical news topics so that the team can best meet the needs of all internal communication stakeholders.

You-ll also be responsible for the following:

- Owning and driving the company news agenda; managing and updating the overall yearly big picture plan and feeding into the day-to-day news tracker.
- Supporting the Global Internal Communications Manager and Head of Internal Communications with planning and delivery of campaign-level communications for key projects within the organisation.
- Devising, implementing and measuring creative and impactful campaigns that bring key projects to life through targeted use of company internal communication channels.
- Acting as news desk editor supporting the internal communications team.

**WHAT YOU-LL NEED**

To be successful in the role you will need the following skills and experience:

- Expert in editorial view; a great eye for a story and the creative flair to tell it compellingly.
- News prioritisation and media awareness skills: able to quickly shift focus and attention based on changing business requirements and the internal/external news agenda.
- Excellent communication skills - both spoken and written.
- Strong experience with creating and tailoring content for diverse audiences using a variety of digital channels.
- A good level of competence in communications tools such as Poppulo, Yammer, Teams etc.

**This is a FIXED TERM CONTRACT for 14 months.**
