An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a ‘Safeguarding Co-ordinator’ in Adult Social Care in Rotherham. We are looking for an inspirational individual with solid partnership skills, motivation and drive, to support the operational and the administration work required for the Rotherham Safeguarding Adults Board (RSAB), the subgroups to the Board and work alongside the Head of Service for Safeguarding.

The role will be exciting and challenging and you will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, along with the ability to work on your own initiative and to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels both internally and externally.

The post involves having oversight and co-ordination of partnership arrangements, this will include the oversight and co-ordination of council and partner and performance data required for both RMBC Senior Management Team, RSAB and the RSAB Executive group.

You will contribute and support partnership safeguarding performance in relation to key indicators, ensuring the ethos and principles of Making Safeguarding Personal are embedded into the day-to-day work of partners and their teams.

The role will involve working closely with both internal and external partners and stakeholders to effect change and deliver a more integrated approach for safeguarding adults.
